The Ultra is a combination of CACI International’s best-selling machines: The Futur-Tec, designed to treat issues related to the skin and the Quantum, built to lift and tone the muscles of the face.
This specially designed handpiece utilizes ultrasonic waves passed through a piezoelectric material to generate mechanical vibrations. The advanced programming of the Ultra and Futur-Tec includes pre-set programs that cause the handpiece to vibrate at different frequencies depending on the desired response in the skin. Both the Futur-Tec and Ultra include the following preprogrammed treatment menus for the Ultrasonic Actuator.

Ultrasonic Actuator - Ultrasonic Microdermabrasion
The micro-vibrations are used to exfoliate dead skin cells and debris from the stratum corneum, while providing therapeutic micro-massage to loosen congestion in the deeper layers. This result is achieved without the use of vacuum suction or any abrasive material, allowing you to treat a wider range of clientele, including those with active acne, thin skin, and sensitivity to harsher exfoliation methods. The advanced settings on the Ultra and Futur-Tec for Ultrasonic Microdermabrasion include programs for blemishes and use under the eye.

Circulation/Lymphatic Drainage
The molecular friction induced by using a pumping motion with the back of the actuator creates a localized increase in heat and dilation of the capillaries. This helps speed up nutrient absorption, lymphatic drainage, and the oxygenation of tissue, while activating the sodium/potassium pump and bringing water from the deeper layers.

Deep Moisturizing
Penetration of skin care products is achieved through the principal of sonophoreises in the Moisturizing Phase. This process is similar to lontophoresis, where electric ions are used to micronize an active product into the epidermis, but sonophoresis allows you to work with a wider range of products.
 
Microlase Wrinkle Comb - Found on the Ultra and Futur-Tec Systems
The Microlase Wrinkle Comb integrates a combination of micro-current and light therapy into a single handpiece. The wrinkle comb is designed to be used as a non-invasive alternative to collagen injections due to its ability to ”plump out” deep lines. This is particularly beneficial when treating nose to mouth, frown lines, and stretch marks.

Microlase Wrinkle Comb -   Light Therapy

Both the Vaculase and Microlase Wrinkle Comb utilize red light therapy. The wavelength of the light used in these systems is non-ablative and will never burn or harm the skin. Instead the light is used to promote the healing response in the skin and to stimulate the acupressure points on the face and neck.

When low level light therapy waves penetrate deeply into the skin, they optimize the immune response of our blood. This has both anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects. Light transmitted to the blood in this way has positive effects throughout the whole body, supplying vital oxygen and energy to every cell.
